Project goal

The client wanted to shift away from the current table designs that he was offering, which had a more rugged industrial look and feel, and present something new on the market. The project goal was to create 3 unique table designs that would elevate the company's identity and help it branch into a wider market.

My role in the project

I helped the client by guiding him through a design journey where we explored his interest, current design trends and the market to form a new design language. We still wanted to be true to the company's origin and keep metal as part of the design, but dial it back a bit and introduce more complex solid wood joints. We explored different ways to incorporate metal as details that would elevate the already complex solid wood joints.
